Captain Zach was phenomenal; making sure our lines were always baited quickly and with laughter! The trip was the best, all we needed was to show up and he did the rest! We caught 40 fish altogether but threw a few back that were too small. I would recommend booking a fishing trip with Captain Zach, he truly made our Sunday memorable. Looking forward to the next fishing trip!

Captain Zach made my first fishing trip unforgettable! We went out as a group of four, and from start to finish he made the entire experience smooth, fun, and had us laughing the entire time. His knowledge, patience, and great energy made us feel comfortable the whole time. Definitely a trip we’d return for!

I recently went on a guided fishing trip with Zach and his co-guide Andrew and genuinely, I only have good things to say. Both of them were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I think we caught over 30 decent sized cat fish. They did a great job instructing me on the proper techniques, explained how they set routes and find spots, and even explained how their gear worked. This trip really boosted my confidence as a fisher. Every question I asked had a competent answer, every mistake I made was corrected in a very polite and professional manner. It was also a nice bonus that Zach had cleaned and filleted the fish for me when the trip concluded. I like to cook but I can’t say I’m a very good butcher so it was quite nice to not have to do that myself. They were also genuinely cool guys to hang out with and they kept the trip as fun as it was educational. I also would like to mention that the boat Zach uses was quite comfortable and decently sized so there was no cramped feeling whatsoever. I generally get claustrophobic easily and I was concerned about that, however, that was absolutely not an issue. If you want to up your fishing game, I cannot recommend these fellas enough.

Had an awesome time fishing with Zach! He was professional without being boring. Super easy to get along with, great personality, and incredibly patient. We ended up catching over 50 catfish, which made for an unforgettable day on the water. Zach was prompt, had everything prepped and ready to go, and made the whole experience smooth and fun. 10/10 would book again and already planning to come back in the spring!

Such a stellar trip! We made great memories, caught some big fish, and had the best and most informative/knowledgeable guide. We will be making this trip again.

Zach was professional, kind, and patient with our whole family. We had fun, caught plenty, and were safe and comfortable on the boat! 5/5 will be fishing with ZD Fishing Guide again!

Can’t say enough great things about Zach! Funny, personable and really knows what he is doing when it comes to fishing! I’ve never caught so many fish in my life! I wouldn’t ever even think about using another fishing guide when ZD is around! 5/5!!

Went fishing with Zach on Lake Lavon and had an amazing time. Caught more fish than I ever have. He is very friendly and made sure he stayed on top of the fish. Will be going back as many time as I can.
